Countdown to OSU-Michigan (sSe Special)

Ohio State Buckeyes

Record: 5-0 Result: Win 38-17 over Iowa

- (10-2-06) - looked very good, after devastating undefeated Iowa at Iowa. The Bucks now look forward to interstate Bowling Green.

- (10-3-06) - Personally, i feel that this game is not a step in the right direction for the Bucks, but just another one of those "bye" week scrimmages, where someone important could get hurt. Ohio State's scheduling team really needs to look hard at keeping games like this out of the middle of the season. It does no good for BG, and same for OSU.

Next: 10-7-06 vs BG (3-2)

Michigan Wolverines

Record: 5-0 Result: Win 28-14 over Minnesota

- (10-2-06) - Michigan played a rather tight second half against the Gophers before pulling away midway thru the 4th quarter. I understand, you don't wanna blow everyone out you play............yeah right!!

- (10-3-06) - Looking forward to Saturday's match-up with Michigan State, there are a few breaks the Wolverines are getting. The Spartans are banged up. Starting running back Javon Ringer is now out for the season with a severe knee injury, and I'm not sure whether that is the same knee that kept him sidelined for half his senior year at Dayton Chaminade-Julienne. Also Drew Stanton has been upgraded to probable for the game against the Wolverines. He suffered some bruised and banged up ribs in the 4th quarter against Iliinois, and could have missed up to 3 weeks.

Next: 10-7-06 vs MSU (3-2)
